My wife and I stayed here for our Anniversary, there was no disappointments in every aspect! The rooms were quaint, welcoming, and clean, the ambiance was warm and inviting. Our host Nicole made us feel like we were family and sharing memories. The breakfast was simply amazing and plentiful, left us anticipating the next morning! The location was excellent and close to Thames St and many historical buildings with the convenience of many dining options, also including their sister restaurants! We found every place to be memorable, kind and gracious! Shout out to Nicole, Mike, and bartender Tom for their hospitality and warmth! Will definitely be back! Five plus stars is not enough!

This place is a perfect blend of historic charm and cozy comfort. It was great for my mother / daughter weekend trip! The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the location is ideal—just a short walk from Newport’s downtown. Also, parking is free and eliminated the stress of having to find a spot. Highly recommended!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Chart House Inn, and it was an unforgettable experience! The inn is beautifully maintained, with luxurious rooms that made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a standout, far surpassing our expectations with fresh, delicious options that fueled our adventures in Newport. The location is central and within walking distance to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The friendly and attentive staff made our stay even more special. We left with wonderful memories and hope to return every year to this charming gem. Highly recommend the Chart House Inn for a romantic getaway!

We had two rooms for our party of 4 - Lizzy Murphy and Mary Balch. We didn’t do a good job of reading the descriptions when we booked so we didn’t know our rooms had a shared bathroom, but fortunately we were just sharing with our party between the two rooms. All other rooms at the inn have private bathrooms. Our rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. The window air conditioning unit works well. The walls are quite thin so we could hear what felt like everything in the room next to us but overall our stay was peaceful.

This review is delayed. My husband and I stayed here for 2 days around spring time in 2024 on our way to Boston. What a wonderful stop!! Every breakfast was fresh and tasty. They even have well mannered puppy to love on. We booked the Jane Pickens room and it was plenty of room with a cute coffee nook. The house is well located and we were able to walk around to the main areas. Would stay here again when we come to Newport!

Stayed here back in October and loved our experience. The location was perfect to walk to other sights and was surrounded by great restaurant choices. The breakfast each morning was amazing-the pastries were my favorite. Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Having parking was super helpful and allowed us easy access to drive to other places we wanted to visit. Would for sure stay here again!

Simply an amazing experience in Newport. One of my favorite B&Bs I've ever stayed at. Nicole and team are kind, accommodative, and incredibly warm. My wife and I were so pleased with our decision to choose Chart House Inn. Our room was lovely and this location could not have been more perfect. Additionally, the breakfast spread everyday was incredible. Pastries, fruit, delicious quiches and sandwiches made from scratch.. Would stay there again without hesitation when through Newport again.
